Title: Modwheel not responding on my Keystep
Post by: wovertices on November 01, 2017, 01:37:08 pm
Any suggestions forum members?...I've attempted to solve the problem in the Midi Control Center to no avail...perhaps I'm doing something wrong? Could someone walk me through it...or any other suggestion?

Has anyone else had this problem? Everything else is functioning.

Thanks,
John

I am having the same problem.  It worked out of the box, I went into Midi Control Centre, and tried to restore to default.  But nothing?  How is this repaired, or reset please?

I figured it out... was a MIDI channel issue.

I had the same problem after making some test with the MIDI Control Center. I didnte know what happen. Just the mod wheel stop recieving my finger touching. I used another program to confirm this: all the keys and other buttons were working except the mod wheel band.

I tried many things and the last one I did was to reinstall the last firmware version of the keystep. Then it works again since then.

So rare!!

I had the same problem. Suddenly the mod slider didnt work. Then I tried connecting directly to my synth, and it worked. I have a midi splitter, and it was one of the small jump-switches on the back that had moved a little.  ;D
