Title: Can't connect to Arturia servers

ASC is telling me it can't connect to the Arturio servers.  ASC throws up an error message with "retry" or "offline mode".

My internet connect is working so there must be something wrong with the Arturia Servers.

First, where can I check the status of the servers?

Second, is this a known issue with steps for resolution?

Got the same thing happening here and it's a right pain. Getting a new machine up & running as my old one died. Was able to use the clone to bring stuff over instead of having to reinstall everything. Got thje same message as you guys are getting. Even downloaded a new ASC thinking the old one wasn't working right with OSX 10.10.5 (Yosemite). Wrong. Can log into my user account though.

Nothing on the website to indicate there are any current issues. Which will be of no help to new users who will be convinced they're doing something wrong. I first noticed it when I couldn't log into the Sound Store in Analog Lab. So I tried logging into the ASC and got the same result.

What computer & operating system are you on? I wonder if this is cross platform (both Mac & Windows) or Mac only?

Didn't think Arturia stuff was okayed for High Sierra; like I said I'm on Yosemite. Waiting to see if anyone on Windows has this problem.

I don't think logging into the ASC is OS specific when the complaint is that it can't find the server. Sounds like an issue at Arturia. Or, it could even be locale specific, affected by which route the software takes to log into the Arturia server depending on where you live. Only needs one link to break in the chain. All guesswork of course.

Having exact same issue, and trying to working tech support.

Here is what I just sent them in terms of what I did thinking the problem was at my end:

1. Uninstalled All Arturia Software
2. Rebooted machine
3. Disabled Modem firewall
4. Disabled Windows Firewall
5. Disabled Windows Defender
6. Re-logged into Windows
7. Deleted everything in #temp#
8. Verified no credentials saved in Windows Credential Manager
9. Ensured no registry entries for ASC
10. Downloaded ASC
11. Reinstalled ASC and ran as admin
12. Immediately after trying to login:

Nothing has worked so far.

Anybody have any luck?

Modified response at 8:51PST:

I cleaned the registry again, cleaned ProgramData as well, and with no trace of my credentials being saved, and after I open the program, just letting it sit without even attempting to put a username/pw in the fields, got the message "Can't connect to Arturia servers" - definately an Arturia issue!

I ended up just manually downloading each plugin I own from the website and doing offline activation. Works until they get it all sorted out.

On windows 10 - can not connect.
On High Sierra - can not connect.

Arturia Software Center has been giving me the same "can't connect to the Arturia servers" notification in Software Center for the past 48 hours. I've tried many times, restarted, etc., even attempted to connect via VPN. My location is Los Angeles, CA. OSX 10.12.6. I've tried DM'ing on Twitter with no response. Will open up a ticket with support. In the meantime, any updates would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Add me to the list. Both Mac (Sierra) and PC (Win 10 Pro).

The website was also throwing 504 errors all damn day yesterday, so they're pretty clearly having server issues of a sort.

Opened it up this morning, and now it is performing an "Auto Update" of the app, so it looks like it is now working.

When I got the email notification of VCollection 6 dropping I figured let me fire up ASC (which started no problem) and see what updates were available for us VC5 users. Turned out there were updates for both VC4 & VC5 - Analog Lab 3 and a whole bunch of updates for the VC5 synths. Figured it would be maybe an hours tops. Turned out to be an all day affair. I would keep getting 'update paused' at random times during the day which made it a pain as I couldn't just let the update happen while I did other things. ASC never gave an outright warning that the connection dropped but I would get several times where nothing seemed to be happening and right clicking on the program icon in my Mac's Dock would show 'program not responding' so I guess ASC was not getting the handshake it should be getting.

Arturia really needs to sort this stuff out.

edit for additional:
Anybody notice that the forum times are off by about 16 minutes? The hour thing is no biggie and user fixable.

Same over here. I'm on a mac and I uninstalled and installed the ASC over and over again. Updated to the newest OSX version, downloaded older versions of the ASC. I tried literally everything but nothing seems to work out for me. Can anyone tell me how to fix this issue or will it fix itself over time? What did you guys do?

Edit:
Funny thing is, it works on my sisters machine. It's a mac too and the connection works fine. So it isn't a problem that is consistent.

If it's any help, I have two Macs, the ASC works properly on one but not the other, even though they're both configured the same. I've given up using the ASC completely. Whenever I hear on the grapevine about an app update I just download it directly from Arturia's website and install in manually:

I did the same, but can't get any further than my upload of the offline activation request, as Arturia seem to be ignoring it, and haven't bothered responding with the email and activation file I need to complete it. Their "support" is the worst I've ever encountered, and their response times are dire. Having read through many pages of this forum, it's become obvious that this issue has been ongoing for almost four (!) years now, and it's still happening, to some people at least. Abysmal service.

UPDATE : I finally received an offline activation file. Still no joy getting the ASC login to work, but at least Pigments is now usable.

2021 and this still doesn't work. So sad.
