I'm new to this type of drum machine, I'm used to ones with a jack input. So I'm guessing the simplest set up is to have it plugged in via usb to a laptop and then have an aux cable from the PA going from my laptop?
Could anyone open my mind to the most common or helpful live setups when using this drum machine?

Yes, as SparkLE is a midi controller with no on-board sounds or audio out , the sound is produced by the Spark2 program installed on your computer. Therefore- to connect to a PA system you must use a cable connected to the PC audio out or (better) audio out ports of an audio interface connected to the computer.

Your best setup would be using ANY other brand than Arturia!

You should use a USB Sound Interface and a Midi Controller like Spark LE. Are you an newbie at music production and live gigs?
