Title: Aftertouch not working for any of the synths
Post by: thepostman on July 10, 2017, 04:18:23 pm
I have just purchased and installed the V-collection. But aftertouch seems not to be working for any of the synths. So far I tried it on the Solina, Jup, ARP 2600, matrix, SEM V.

I am using latest version of Maschine 2 as host (but is does't work in laboratory stand alone either), running on a Mac, OSX El Capitan.
The controller is a Komplete Kontrol, and its aftertouch is working just fine with any other plug-in, as long as it is not Arturia.

Anyone experiencing the same problem, or is there a known solution?

Hi,

For the Solina it's by design. The aftertouch is assigned to the Brightness and Level. You can set the amount of aftertouch in the Master Section (click on the wood panel to open the GUI).
For the Jupiter you can set Aftertouch destination in the "Keyboard" section when you open the GUI.
For the ARP you have to manually plug the Aftertouch output to the chosen destination.
For the SEM, open the GUI and you have access to the modulation panel when you can set aftertouch to any destination.
For the Matrix you can set aftertouch to any destinations on the MOD. page (bottom right).

Hope it helps.

Best,

Matthieu

Title: Re: Aftertouch is working. Not an Arturia problem, but a NI Maschine problem

Okay, I was wrong. It is working in the stand alone version, but not in NI Maschine. It appears that NI Maschine currently does not support aftertouch. Sorry for the wrong posting.

And Matt, thanks for taking the effort to reply.

No worries here :) Sorry to hear that Maschine does not support aftertouch.
