Title: macOS: potential V collection 5 installation redundancy
Post by: jotagi on May 23, 2017, 05:11:26 am
While checking for a reason for the staggering amount of space V collection 5 bundle takes on the system HD (which is due to UI graphic files, apparently) I also discovered that, apart from "[system drive]/Library/Audio/Plugins/Vst and ..../vst3" folders (the usual destinations for vst plugins on a Mac), .vst and .vst3 files (or packages) for each plugin in the bundle are also installed in "[system drive]/Library/Arturia" folder in respective plugin subfolders. What might be the reason for that? Can these be removed to save space?
