Title: JUP-8V VST won't let me save a user preset
Post by: dpfranz on May 14, 2017, 10:52:11 pm
I'm using Studio One 3 as my DAW, on Windows 10.

I can't seem to save a preset as a different name after modifying it. I click on the Arturia Jup-8 V orange rectangle at the top left of the vst, and this brings up a normal menu, containing Save, Save as.., import, export..etc. But when I select Save or Save as, the save as dialogue comes up, but it won't let me edit any of the text fields. Worse, if I put the cursor in a field, say, the name field, and hit backspace, it deletes whatever section of music is selected in the current track in my DAW.

If I run the JUP-8V standalone app, none of this is a problem, I can edit the name, description, etc.

Anyone figure out a workaround to allow renaming and saving edited presets from the in-DAW vst?

Thanks!

Hi welcome to Arturia forums.

I also use Studio One 3. I don't seem to have this issue.

I use:
1. Studio One 3 version 3.3.4.41933
2. Jup-8 VST3 version 3.1.0.205
3. Windows 10
All 64 bit.

What do you use?

This topic would be better to have in Jup-8 forum as it's not a ASC issue.
