Title: Move Snare Forward when programming house beat
Post by: djgamerdude on May 10, 2017, 01:23:37 pm
Hi Guys,

I just made a great drum beat in live, just using live's own drums. As it was a standard house beat, I moved the clap forward a tick, to thicken the snare.

Is there a way to do that with my spark le?

When I program drums in spark le I only program steps, and they are locked to a certain timing. So how do I move the timing of individual steps a few miliseconds forward? Is that even possible?

I use spark le as a vst plug-in in live 9 standard.

You can do this by holding down a step button (1-16) with a hit that you want to nudge and turn "move" knob.

Flams/rols can be done in similar manner by holding the step and turning the "divide" knob.

Ps. neither functions has any visual feed back of made changes. :-X

Thx man.

What a relief. That spark engine really is quite smart and modern!  :D ;D

Cheers.
