Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

I would have posted this topic in V-Collection 5 Analog Lab 2 forum.
What does sw mean?

I presume you mean the output from your computer when you say analog output.

Most of us use a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) for recording i think.
You need to find some kind of app that can record. Either one that can catch the sound in your computer (Catching audio in the computer has become more difficult as it can be used to record illegal.), or a plug-in host that can record, or a DAW that support third party plugins. Perhaps you can find something for free.

A better soundcard and a good recording device can perhaps also be an option for you. Personally i would go for a DAW. But i would also use a better soundcard than the standard computer soundcard anyway. I use a external soundcard/ interface and a DAW.

I guess you need to study quite much. But i hope this helps you a little on your way.
I hope i have understood your post correct.
