Title: 20 minute matrixbrute improvisation
Post by: khidr on May 05, 2017, 11:13:11 pm
I'm truly astounded of what the Matrixbrute is capable off!

I'm starting to use the Steiner Notch filter a lot. It produces many unexpected effects. In this improvisation the oscillators are divided in duo split mode.  The Matrixbrute effects are controlled by the LFO's. I'm also using the arpeggiator/glide a lot. the final sound is fed through an Eventide H9 Harmonizer.

Hi Soundrider,
Thanks for the compliments. It is indeed taken in one improv session. To be honest it's not only matrixbrute, i send my matrixbrute through an h9 eventide. The two make a fantastic pair...The patch is rather complex, many of the things that happen are impossible to explain. A lot is happening simultaniously, a resonating lfo  overdriven Steiner filter,
a complex evolving sequence and filter and oscillator envelops that overlap... and lots of happy accidents happening which are impossible to repeat.
