Title: how to map swell to expression pedal in B3 preset
Post by: pjkemp on February 18, 2017, 09:36:38 am
i have read the manual over and over and somehow I am just missing the steps to map a roland ev-5 attached to a keylab25 to swell in analog lab 2's b3 preset.

Can anyone help?

Thanks

Hi pjkemp and welcome to Arturia forums.

If you don't own the B3 application, then i don't think you can map the B3 Swell pedal.

If you own the B3 application, then it's possible to assign a Analog Lab control to the B3 Swell pedal. You can see how - from 18:05 min - in this AnalogLab 2 tutorial video: https://www.arturia.com/analoglab/media

The rest is about using Midi learn to assign the Analog Lab control to your hardware expression pedal, or how you do that if you have other methods availble.

Thanks, LBH. Just learning the ropes here.

Too bad the Lab cannot directly map the expression pedal using MIDI Learn.

At this point I have no interest in buying B3 V, as I have two other good emulations already.

I was able to remap the expression pedal port in the MIDI Control Center. that will suffice for now, but I find the midi learn mapping claim for analog lab a little misleading.

Once again, thankyou for your help.
