Title: Changing tied notes
Post by: DvergRuben on February 14, 2017, 12:27:05 pm
I think it would make sense that changing the pitch of the first note in a series of tied notes also changes the following notes. More often than not I'd like to edit the pitch of an entire sustained note, and not just the first division of that note. For instance, if I have a sequence that contains a C that is held over 4 note divisions, like this:
C-C-C-C

Changing the first pitch value to, say E, should change the entire sustained note, like this:
E-E-E-E

Instead, the way it currently works produces this result:
E-C-C-C

Learn from Roland (boutique sequencer), it is simpler to hold the pad of note you need to tie ... and click the second, third ... tenth pad to extend the note across multiple steps...  thus producing tie note across many steps. Of course the note would have the pitch of the first selected note.

Just got my Beatstep Pro and I am pretty disappointed this is not a feature.  :(
