Ever since updating to Logic Pro X 10.3.0 I spend an inordinate amount of time waiting on momentary (1-4 second) hangs with the lovely beachball cursor. When a project loads, each Analog Lab 2 (version 2.0.4.1155) track takes turns hanging, so larger songs are extremely slow to load.
Changing presets within Analog Lab 2 is also painfully slow since the update.
Anybody else experiencing this?
Edit: I probably should have posted to the Technical Issues child board, sorry!
Edit 2: I was able to work around some of the issues by downgrading Analog Lab 2 to 2.0.2.98. So far this version appears to play nicely with Logic Pro X 10.3.0 after the song is loaded.

Hi.
I just tried to use Analog Lab 2 in Logic Pro X for the first time since updating to 10.3 last night and it was a nightmare. Switching presets and views took forever, and a lot of clicks and pops. "Glad" to hear it's not just me then. Hopefully Arturia will come out with an update soon.
Gonna try your workaround and downgrade in the meantime.
Cheers,
aMake

The latest update solves many of my Logic Pro X problems, but switching presets can still be pretty slow, especially between synths.
I thought I'd share a simple (but not free) workaround.
If you install Metaplugin and use it to wrap the VST version, performance is super speedy! Changing presets is nearly instant!
It's the best solution I've found, but it does cost $49: http://ddmf.eu/metaplugin-chainer-vst-au-rtas-aax-wrapper/ (http://ddmf.eu/metaplugin-chainer-vst-au-rtas-aax-wrapper/)
Anyone know of a free VST to AU wrapper that supports 64bit?

Hi PolyVector,
I warned the DevTeam about the slow preset change. Thanks for reporting this.

Thank you so much for your help, the plugin is really quite wonderful, and having all the features available has been great!

This has been solved for me using Analog Lab 2.1.2.80 with the latest version of Logic (10.3.2).
