Title: New version 3.0.1.58 (using in Ableton) has volume issues.
Post by: JiggyWig on June 11, 2016, 02:56:41 am
New version 3.0.1.58 (using in Ableton) has volume issues.

During playback of certain patches volume/envelope drops and sound is ruined. Sometimes hitting panic resets it. Clicking off patch and back on always fixes it.

Example patch: Jupiter Factory 53 - Play some sets of quite long chords (4 or 5 seconds), the volume will drop after only a short while

Some of the other patches can be made to exhibit the problem by using the pitch wheel on them.

This is practically unusable.

Can I roll back the upgrade?

Hi JiggyWig,

I'm not able to reproduce your issue. Could you tell me what are your OS, Live version and computer ?

Thanks

Valentin

Hi Guys,

I just discovered this morning that the problem is not the Jupiter 8 V after all; turns out my MIDI controller has developed a weird fault of some kind. I hasn't had any noticeable affect on any other plug ins, so I hadn't expected the fault to be there. Sorry for the false alarm.

Cheers
