Title: [Nearly There! ]Sustain Pedal cc64 not functioning as before.
Post by: jeffbart on May 30, 2016, 07:34:54 am
Sustain pedal (CC64) worked fine with CS80 v2.
With SUST switch in the down position and the slider up, CS80 should let the cc64 sustain pedal work. In V3 doesn't seem to function.
Is there something I need enable to get the sustain to work?

Thanks Jeffrey

I can confirm the sustain pedal function is not working.
It should work according to the setting for the sustain time (The yellow fader in the section left of the keyboard) - when the SUST switch (The far left switch in same sections bottom) is on. But it don't work. Has to be fixed.

In todays update version 3.0.2 sustain pedal issue is still present.
But know when you switch the Sustain Switch on, then there is sustain regardsless you have your pedal on or not.
So any preset that have sustain pedal set to be used now has release all the time.

As an example for the wrong behavior for instance take preset "888 Perc".
1. Play it. =  No release.
2- Press Sustain pedal -= Still no release
1+2 is Okay as the Sustain pedal swirch is not on.
So now switch the sustain pedal on and
3. Play = Note is held. This is wrong. The note only should be held when the sustain pedal is pressed.

So many major things has not been corrected. Not even the vital aftertouch issues in CS80 and other applications have been fixed, even if things like that should be among the first things to fix. What vital issue have actually been fixed? The vital things need to be fixed.

I can't use a dummy application. It need to work. It's paid for more than once to work .

I agree with your reporting in different threads about this latest CS-80 update Jeffbart.

However - The SUST on/ off switch at the left is reversed. CS-80 V2 work the other way around.
The switch control if Pedal Sustain is On or Off, as written in the value display at the bottom of the application. When On the pedal should work like in CS-80 V2. Now in V3 it work when Off. It's reversed. So this topic is'nt fully solved yet, as i see it.

Cheers.
