I put a new song in my music website called "You Can Help Me". The song has ARP2600V, some non-Arturia synths, and some electric guitar. Please tell me how you like it and how it can be improved. If you review my music, I can return the favor if you wish. The song is at this link:

Nice, I like it. The ARP2600V is one of my favorite synths, I think partly because of the mystery that awaits this behemoth modular beast. Lot's of endless possibilities.

You're welcome! I can't say it (the ARP2600V settings) sounds exactly like Edgar Winter, though it mentions he used a wah-wah pedal at least part of the time. Not real easy to do with a synth plug-in, but I could do: computer>interface>wah pedal>Korg D3200 hard disc recorder (and eventually record it in Cubase). I did use the ARP2600V settings (probably with extra tweaks) for lead synth in a recent tune of mine (it will be quite awhile before I go public with that).

That's a good article, thanks for sharing. He mentions the Solina a lil bit here & there too.

You're welcome! The song "Frankenstein" really made an impression on me around 1973, especially concerning synths. I still think the synths in that song are truly amazing.

For me it was RUSH, Moving Pictures and then Signals.

Rush is one of my favorite bands! Neal Peart is the best living drummer in my opinion. The only drummer in his league, for me, is John Bonnom. Geddy Lee is my favorite bass player, excellent keyboard player, and I usually like his singing. Alex Lifeson is one of my favorite guitar players, though I haven't been wild about his studio guitar sound in recent years. I saw Rush play live several years ago and they were great. Their DVD "Rush in Rio" is excellent in my opinion, I have it: very similar to the live show I saw them play in Southern California.
