Title: Matrix: Step Sequencer mode
Post by: Koshdukai on January 24, 2016, 03:26:01 am
I have to say, each time I see the step sequencer running, I keep wishing the MOD, Slide and Accent rows had different backlight colors instead of the same (red) as the Step rows. Like, the MOD row using blue (like the Matrix mode), etc.

It would help visually to have them color-coded, although after a while I guess muscle-memory will make one quickly reach for the right row... but still, I just had to make this comment/suggestion :)

Good idea, and easy peasy  :)

I also hope they will offer a song mode where patterns can be chained (Pattern and Link buttons?), and another performance mode where patterns and songs can be changed by hitting a button (with the next pattern/song starting when the current ends). That gorgeous matrix sequencer need things like that  8)

hmmm... I wonder if there's a SeqPlay mode to retrigger the pattern on each gate/key press.

I hope the Seq Play button is one of the possible custom Mod destinations on those last 4 dest columns :)
