Title: MiniLab presets base sharing for iOS apps (and others...)
Post by: Cyril777 on December 18, 2015, 05:32:38 pm
hi,
I own a MiniLab for more than a year now, and I'm pretty satisfied with it. I make music exclusively on iOS, I'm just in love with this environment, but maybe more than with desktop music production, midi controllers are important. I
I must say that I'm far from being a midi expert, just an enthusiastic amateur. So, when it comes to other commands than CC, I'm not so sure what I'm doing, and then it's more like try and learn.
I've made some presets for my favorites synth apps, some fx apps too, and I like to store the 8 available slots with the presets I will use with the session I'm about to begin.
Last week, I thought it will be cool to make a preset for each of the Korg Gadjet modules. But it's a lot of work, and since you can't map all the controls on the MiniLab, you have toque some choices, use them to know what's more useful and so on.
In the same idea, I build 3 presets to use with the Korg iMS-20...
Anyway, after a very disappointing experience with the Arturia help center 2 weeks ago (I emailed them to ask about a very specific and rather simple question, and I never got an answer) I thought maybe it would be profitable to all MiniLab users (on iOS) to be able to share their presets, like it's done on the MidiDesigner forum, or Audiobus forum.
I checked the.presets section but sadly, there's not a lot of consultations and contributions.
So, this post is probably a bottle in the sea, but hey, you never know.
Best regards,
Cyril
