Title: Transport Sync Issues with Ableton Live

Hello,

Just this afternoon I re-installed my Spark. I had some issues with the jogwheel, and thought a clean install and update might resolve this. Only now I have a new problem. The transport controls don't seem to synchronise with Live. The tempo gets synced but when I press play or pause in Live, Spark doesn't react.

Host and Tempo are both toggled on in the VST, and when I press stop twice in Live, playback will stop but won't start when I press play again.

Before the install this used to work fine. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Hi, what version of live are you and which platform OS X or windows
what about spark which version are you using .

there are some beta of spark if you want to try

Hi,

Spark 2.1.0
Live 9.0.2
OSX 10.10.2

How would those Beta's help exactly?

Do you have spark or sparkle controllers .
have you tried to delete the midi driver in utilities / audio midi setup

the beta has improvements over 2.10

I have a Spark Controller. I removed the midi driver as you said, and installed the Beta. Still No luck though.
When I play a pattern in the vst and press spacebar in live, the pattern will retrigger but it doesn't start or stop playback.

Any other tips?

Hi you have host activated ? so if you press the spacebar the patten in spark vst is not playing unless to press start on the controller?

Yep. But it doesn't matter, host on or off, first press play inside VST/Controller or use transport buttons in Live. Nothing responds. :(

ok is ext in top lefthand corner on turn this of as spark vst will not send ext sync to live .what version of live are you using?

EXT was alreasy off. Thanks though. I'm using Live 9.0.2.

Ok well it seems to (sorta) have been fixed now.

When (inside live) I go to plugins>VST>Custom>VST>Spark the transport controls seem to respond.

Only when I use the Audio Unit the transport won't respond. Or when I go to Plugins>VST>Local>Spark i get a white screen where Spark used to be as soon as I close the plugin window. Wich won't disappear until I restart Live. But that has been happening with every drumcomputer/sequencer vst since I upgraded to OSX 10.
