Title: switching "mode" from Spark to midi
Post by: Ian Lawson on February 22, 2015, 05:20:36 am
Spark LE just arrived, but when I plug it into my MacBook running 10.8.5 I get an error message "Controller has not been detected.  Please make sure Spark LE is connect and in midi mode."  It is definitely connected, but the "mode" shows Spark lit, but not midi lit.  How do I switch the mode to Midi?  I've looked everywhere, and in both manuals.  Help!

Hi can you see in audio midi set up app in your mac  if you can see the mini driver in the midi setup ,you may ned to scroll ,see screenshot .if its there click on it  and from the file menu delete ,reconnect the sparkle into a usb port on your mac making sure no other usb devices are there .
if you cannot see the driver you may have a faulty lead .
does sparkle boot up with the light dance when plugged in?

regards

If memory serves I think you press Filter/Slicer/Roller simultaneously to switch to/from midi mode.
