Title: Tune mode and drag/drop midi with Spark LE (pro tools 10/mac)
Post by: coalminer on May 16, 2014, 05:06:36 pm
Is there a way to maintain melodic integrity of parts programmed in Spark LE when dragging/dropping midi in to the DAW? i.e. a bassline that was programmed in Spark loses its melodic changes when I drag and drop the midi into the DAW. The rhythmic component is the same but the note changes aren't there...

Spark LE 1.7
Pro Tools 10.3.2
OS 10.6.8

What about other changes like Decay, Filter etc.? Will they somehow tranfered into an automation lane?
I'm afraid this will never work as all these changes are achieved by using macros which means another few (up to four or six) parameter changes. None if this parameters are able to get controlled via Midi CC or something else.
So my guess is that this is not possible.  :(

Hi,
if you assign a MIDI CC to the automated parameter (Ctrl/Cmd Click on the knob) the exported pattern should contain the CC automation.

yep, pitch parameter can be mapped to a MIDI CC
