Hello all.
I haven't owned a synth since the 1990s when I had a Yamaha SY85. This had an internal sequencer and disk drive together with drum banks and as a result I never had to use the MIDI facilities for what I needed.
I have recently bought a Microbrute and have been loving the sounds I have been getting out of it. However, I now feel the need to try and build some tracks and this is where he problem starts.
I am totally clueless when it comes to MIDI etc.
I am wanting to put down some basic drums and sequencer lines. I have a Mac and garageband but I understand that I can't run MIDI on that.
I have downloaded a free trial of Ableton.
Basically I am trying to get the sequencer of the microbrute to run in time with ableton so I can run the two alongside each other and require someone to talk me through it as though talking to a small child!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
