Unfortunately I can't drag any wav-files from my win7 explorer on one of the Spark 2 pads. I always have to go to the studio tab and load the file into the wav-player.
Even when creating a new project (which will result in having 16 Wave-Players) I can't just drag and drop a sample into Spark 2.
Same problem with midi files. I mean why else is there a "Midi IMPORT/Export" section in the "prefs" tab?
Anybody here who had success with importing files using drag & drop?

You must select the pad first before drag and droping on it. Spark dosen't support 32b files and AIFF files so check the files you've drop on.
You could not drag and drop midi files on pads.

Yes, of course I can't drop midi files on the pads, I know but I must be able to drop or even load them somewhere, right? So how can I do that?
Even when selecting a pad first (that's what I'm doing all the time) I can't drag and drop any WAV-files on the pad or anywhere else.

Support only pointed me to the Spark documentation, that's all. Obviously they are thinking that everything works as expected.
So I would like to ask you to check if the drag and drop of WAV-files for new or existing projects works on your WIndows 7, 64-bit computer.
Is anybody here who can confirm that drag & drop for Spark 2.0 works on windows?
-
Hi,
yes it should work.
But there is a bug so you have to select the instrument (i.e. click on the pad) before drag the sample on it.
This will be fixed soon.

Yes, yes, I know that I have to select the pad first. But even then drag & drop does not work!
So, anybody here who can confirm that drag & drop works in Spark 2.0?

I am currently working on the drag'n'drop issue.
I will double check on Windows and get back to you ASAP.
