Title: HELP - Spark Controller always fails to load in my Pro Tools 9
Post by: 15thSINE on October 19, 2012, 07:47:12 am
I'm having huge issue's with Arturia Spark not recognising the controller but the RTAS (VST) working ok and in standalone it's working fine to just not in my Pro Tools 9.0

Each time I load it says

Warning : Midi Ports
you need to turn of some MIDI connections in your sequencer software

please go to your sequencer's MIDI settings and turn off "Spark Private In" and "Spark Private Out"

Were do I find this? I got no other MIDI controller setup on my workstation, I'm running Pro Tools 9.0, Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, and ASIO 4all drivers as well, Digi 003 Rack i/o >:(

There is a problem with Pro Tools because we do not know how to disable MIDI out port.
The workaround is to turn on Spark controller after Pro Tools is launched.
