I'm also in the same boat!
Bought the player today, and tried to register it... to NO AVAIL!
I tried registering a tech support inquiry, but there's no option for the player..
I really really need to use this tomorrow. Otherwise, I'll return the product.

I posted a tech inquiry, and got a new code.
I think the distributors need to tell people that they may face problems with registering their hardware!
