Title: PWM Env Amount knob?
Post by: GFC on July 14, 2012, 04:19:12 pm
Hey,

been really diggin into the brute, however the PWM Env Amount has less resistence then the others, ie not as stiff, is this normal?

it works as its supposed to so no problem with functionality, just has less resistance.

Thanks

on a side note, im in love with the filter and the sheer amount of tones im able to produce +1 for Arturia.

i mean its not a problem, its just it "feels" differnt,

however I think the brute has been my fav purchase in the last few years and well worth the 6 month wait  :)

It must be a different part # for that pot. It does have a different feel to it.

It's a different part is all.

I asked Arturia about the same thing and it seems to be normal. Here is the answer from Antoine:

"This is not PWM ENV Amt knob is lighter than others, this is not an issue but a "by-design" feature.
However lighter, it is as reliable as other knobs."
