Really tempted to grab a MiniBrute, looks fantastic.
Does anyone know if I can use my Roland drum machine (TR606) to trigger the CV/Gate in the way you could with a TR + SH101 etc? I really miss that functionality and that would seal the deal for me.
Thanks.

I saw a vid of arnaud rebotini pulling it off. So it you should be able to as well

There is switch on back with choices of Keyboard, CV, or Audio, so it should be possible.

It won't trigger the arpeggiator, according to SourceDist UK:
Afraid to say it won't. MiniBrute sends Pitch/Gate CV information when the Arpeggiator is running, so you could use MB as an analog arpeggiator source, but it isn't possible to advance MiniBrute's arpeggiator with a gate like you can on a Juno 60 for example. You'd have to physically modify the MiniBrute to add that. You can obviously sync the Arpeggiator to MIDI clock though.
Major disappointment there, but at least the envelope can be triggered from the input, which is extremely useful. I do that often with my Yamaha CS synth to make basic rhythmic bass lines & percussion.

Thanks all, that's good to know. Will have to investigate further.

however when you transpose on the keys it also triggers the envelopes ... it's a bit messy but if you are close on the timing you could pull it off :-)
