I have been out of the computer/midi/sequencing world for 3 decades (my last rig was a Macintosh Plus w/1 whole Megabite and Performer).
I just bought a new iMac w/OS X Lion. I'd like to try some of these demos, but since I can only use them for 15 days I want to be all set to install and go at it.
I believe all I need are a midi-to-USB converter cable for my controller keyboard to the Mac, and a 1/8" TRS to 1/4" TRS cable to get the audio from my Mac to my console (which has 1/4" TRS = "Phone Plug" inputs).
Correct?
