Title: Spark for iPad
Post by: MR909 on October 31, 2011, 11:49:30 am
So guys, wouldn't it be awesome to:
1> work on, Spark Projects on the bus, train, plane or during team meetings?
2> be able to edit the mixer, fx bus, step sequencer automation, sound editor, etc without having to use a mouse?
3> be able to leave the laptop at home and run the Spark controller (powered by an AC adaptor) into an iPad through the USB VIdeo connect adaptor?

So any plans for Arturia to introduce Spark for iPad in the App Store?  ;)

It would be cool indeed, but I'm not sure that the iPad 1 and even 2 can handle 16 channels of T.A.E. synth drums with all the FXs on top of that.

Maybe it could work with "freezed" sampled versions of the desktop version's TAE generated sounds and simpler, lowQ FX for quick drafting of patterns and songs, I guess that could work.

Maybe a 'lite' version might be the way to go, eg. 8 tracks, or sample based rather than TAE like you suggested.
Arturia?

This is a good idea. We already thought something like this but still not scheduled for the moment. We'll see that in 2012  (if the Earth doesn't explode ;))
