Have been trying (burning valuable time) to get Origin Connect to work on a MacPro running OSX 10.6.7. Refuses to connect - or if it does it drops.
I am connecting directly to a USB Port on the chassis (no Hub)
I have also tried it with my MacBook Pro - same issue.
Anyone else having this issue? Any ideas for a fix?
The Origin shows up on the Midi Buss ok and it works with the DAWs - so I think there
must be some Origin Connect USB issue with the OS.

are you sure you are using the last origin connection version. to be sure, please download the lastest origin OS, in the downloaded package you'll find the last version of origin connection, install it again and try again. hope that helps

Thanks for the reply. Yes had the latestest update.
Found the issue (or what seemed to be the issue). I had a Network session running in the Midi Group. (I have been using the Saitara AC7 iPad controller SW - which requires a network session)
I found it running when using Midi Monitor. I disabled the session and the Origin Connect would then communicate with the Origin.
Not sure why the Midi Network Session wss interfering with the Origin Connect - but Origin Connect did not like the Midi Network Session running at the same time.
(I am confused as to how Origin Connect is talking withe the Origin during the update(s) - over the USB bus only - or over the Midi interface)
Anyway - finally got it update.
Time spent: 2 1/2 hours
Thanks for you reply
