I have just replaced my G5 with a Power Mac 8 core Dual 2.26 so I am stuck with Snow Leopard and Intel. Here's a word of warning about my experience with AF2.5 and the new Mac:
Firstly there seems to be issues with any presets from the MiniMg: they simply max out the outputs of Logic Pro with a subsonic note.
Secondly, plugging in the AF Keyboard seems to randomly kill either all or some of the computers USB ports. Restarting the machine solves the issue, but as soon as you plug in the AF keyboard again all or several of the USB ports disappear and devices attached cannot even be seen in system profiler.
Several re-starts and experiments plugging and starting USB devices in different orders later I managed to get my USB MIDI Interfaces (unitor 8), iLok, Syncrosoft Dongle, keyboard, mouse and Analogue Factory Experience Keyboard recognised - the keyboard even appeared as a MIDI device in Audio and Midi Manager, but no MIDI was sent from it. Launching AF2.5 in Logic Pro9 gave me the "Keyboard and Software are synchronised" message, but Logic received no MIDI in from the keyboard and AF didn't respond either. Switching the keyboard on and off whilst it is plugged in kills all USB ports again, as does resetting the firmware. I have given up.
I think a firmware and software update is due no?

I'm very disappointed !
The keyboard is not recognized and it kills all my USB ports.
This is my first Arturia's product... And certainly the last ! Too bad for Sparks, but I will buy another hardware !!

Same problem with my MacPro (early 2009) but perfectly works with my old MacBook Pro (oct.2006). I wonder if it is not a problem due to some components in new Macs... ???

Same problems. I had the Mg issue too on my old computer (Dual Core) , but that was resolved with an update. Now, I have a new computer (6 Core) but still running OSX 10.6.8 and the USB totally blew out the first time I plugged it in. Still can't get the computer to recognize the Arturia Factory keyboard and had to plug my mouse into a new port since it seems the previous one is fried. This is a brand new computer (2 days old) and I'm really pissed that Arturia would not just cause crashes, but actually potentially ruin hardware.
I've gotten a lot of use out of my Arturia keyboard and software over the past two years and really enjoy the products but if it's going to destroy my new computer I'll gladly throw it in the trash without a second thought. Especially since this thread is over 6 months old and Arturia techs haven't even bothered to reply so hopefully either my tech request of this forum note will garner some useful info.
It really sucks since I'm supposed to have a new song ready for a client tomorrow and now I get to spend my morning shopping for a new keyboard.

On some random situations, depending on computers, it could be a good idea to use an USB hub with its own power supply block, so that the computer does not have to forward all the current through its USB slots.
Alternatively, a power supply block on the keyboard itself should feed it correctly without sucking current from the computer USB slots.
