Title: Analog Factory 2.5 is now available!
Post by: Antoine on March 19, 2010, 01:43:19 pm
Yo dear AF enthusiast,

The latest v2.5 has been released and is available from the Updates (http://www.arturia.com/updates) page.

What does this maintenance release contain? A refreshed GUI to match the new keyboard(s) to come, added sensitivity to Aftertouch messages, a MIDI Control Center to setup the keyboard(s), some bug fixes (yep, there were bugs)...

Keep up the good vibrations,

Antoine.

Thanks for the Update. Even the standalone version works here now.

BUT: Where are my tagged favorites??? Am I expected to listen to all the sounds again? If I can't recall my favorate list I certainly will reinstall my last backup. I hope there is a work around.

edit:
Favourites found thanks Antoine...

Not only that for me this version causes Abelton Live 8.0.9 to have random cpu  spikes, will go from 8% to 489 this will not do back to version 2.2

Are there new keyboards for the Analog Factory coming out soon? Is there any more information on this available?

Thanks!

Antoine, Superwaldi, or others,
I have an iMac with Snow Leopard 10.6.2.  I had Analog Factory 2.0 (with the Experience keyboard) and then I updated to Analog Factory 2.5.  I spent about 100 hours clicking on favorites & making user presets in 2.0.  I can't seem to get my old favorites & user presets back.  It seems like I see them in Macintosh HD/Preferences/Analog Factory/user_presets.prefs (and preferred.prefs ?), but when I try to import them, those files are grayed out & I can not select them.  Some one please help me! ??? ......... See below for answer.

I have Analog Factory 2.0 which was part of my ProTools Ignition Pack 2 Pro.  I have an activation code for that, but not a registration code (different amount of characters in each).  I would like to upgrade to 2.5 but after downloading it won't open and tells me I need a registration code.

I also need technical support for A.F., and cannot access it without a registration code.

Can someone help?  Thanks

Marilyn

What's the reason The Factory do not recieve clock-signals such as start, stop, etc.?

It's useless to me using NI Maschine as master sequencer...

I've tried to use The Factory as VST-plugin but I can't select the grey colored plugin in the corresponding mac folder...

So what???

Thomas,

I'm not sure to understand you problem... Maschine can be used as a VST. But you cannot use VST with the Maschine software...it's not a sequencer...

All the best,

Denis

Unless you are having problems with version 2, I wouldn't upgrade to version 2.5 (which has a few slight advantages) because you can't tweak the delay or chorus amount on Jupiter 8 patches (a known bug).
