Title: PWM and Modulation gives me problems
Post by: cl5160316 on March 26, 2009, 02:55:08 am
If I use OSC B to modulate PWM A

and then manually tweak OSC A's width,

when the width reaches the outer edges, my soundcard POPS really loud.

Is there any update coming soon?

I think they're pretty busy with Origin. Will probably be a long wait before we see any updates. The Prophet 5 has quite a few bugs, though the Prophet VS has been fairly stable for me. I'm just glad the CS-80V has never given me problems.

Yes we are, but not only. Our development team is parsed in several projects: some for the Origin maintenance and evolution, some for the soft synths maintenance and evolution, and some for future delicacies I cannot reveal.
The MiniMg V 2 is under heavy beta test, and next will come the others synths. In a perfect world all the synths would be updated at the same time, very often. Reality is just a bit more complex.
Just stay confident in our works, you should not be disappointed.  :)

My first post in this topic remains unsolved.  Is there a fix coming soon?

Hi, I see that two other synths got updates.  Is Prophet V next?

I have since tried the Prophet V2 update,

and although the synth did hold up much longer than before (while performing the PWM tweak as specified in the original post)

I still got the "pop" and then all subsequent notes after that do not sound.

I use a PWM oscillator B to modulate the PWM of oscillator A.  Make them all high frequency and very thin... then I manually tweak PWM of oscillator A.

Any developments regarding this?
