Title: e-licencing question.
Post by: Nodders on February 10, 2009, 11:12:47 am
Can anyone tell me if I can use an i-lok dongle to authorise Arturia products?
Seems like a pain having to use 2 or more of these things when one key can hold so many licences!

Negative, PACE and Syncrosoft are two different companies providing two different cryptographic protection devices (iLok / USB-eLicenser). No compatibility exists between them, and I doubt any will raise one day.
Since v2.x, Analog Factory uses the Soft-eLicenser solution (USB-eLicenser compatible), allowing to use the synthesizer without plugging any hardware dongle. More info here (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/kb_upload/documents/Syncrosoft_AF2-AFE_EN_print.pdf) and there (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/kb_upload/documents/Syncrosoft_License_Transfer_EN.pdf).

I thought that might be the answer. Anyway, as long as I can transfer the licence at a later date if I need to run it on multiple computers that'll be fine!
Thanks.
