Title: Sorry, yet another basic programming question.
Post by: rjt on April 09, 2007, 02:30:19 am
Well, every time I have a lot of time off of work, I mess around with programming.  Been working too much lately!

1) I do program with the manual in front of me
2) I did a search on the forum .... but my question remains:

What exactly does Mod. Mix in the controllers section do?  Either telling me or pointing me to the correct page of the manual (English) would be VERY helpful and much appreciated.

TIA

NEvermind...this seems to be similar to the questions I asked earlier.  Figured it out with a bit more experimentation and reading (I think it was page 6) of an old Mini-Mg Manual.

Thanks!

Mod Mix in the Controllers section let's you balance the modulation source between OSC3 (however you may have OSC3 set up) and the Noise source. So, for example, you can use the knob to mix ("morph") between a traditional vibrato "woo, woo, woo" controlled by OSC3 to a scribbled up scrabbly noise using the Noise as a modulation source, or any amount between the two.
