Title: ARP UB update
Post by: Kappa on April 05, 2007, 04:25:56 pm
The long awaited update is not far...work on it will start in 2-3 weeks; so it won't be long after that(another couple of weeks) and it will be available for download.
Sorry for the delay and also for announcing it so late but we didn't have any visibility before finishing Jupiter-8V.

Thanks for the new :D

I only hope something: It's the next release won't be only
the universal binary. Sometime ARP2600V is not steady, and
we never got any correction of bugs for this VST.

Yes, please. I haven't even bothered to try using it in quite a while. If I load up an instance in Live 6 or DP and try tweaking a preset, the sound slowly disappears.

Hi all,

The updates are not officially released yet, but they're nearly ready.
For those who'd like to try them before they are released on the update page, here are the links to get them :

ftp://ftp.arturia.net/pub/arp2600v/updates/ARP2600_V_1.2.dmg
ftp://ftp.arturia.net/pub/arp2600v/updates/ARP2600_V_1.2_Setup.exe

As usually, you'll need the original CDRom to be inserted to launch the update.
The main new features are UB and VST 2.4 compatibility (and thus Cubase 4).

Best regards
Nicolas

Thanks Nicolas for the good news.

How long do you anticipate before the official release?

Thanks

If nothing goes wrong, this should be the final release, and it should be available on the website in a few days.

I use a PC. Like the Mg Mod V,  the mouse wheel scroll no longer works for me. I'm not sure whether this is intentional or just overlooked. The old version of ARP 2600 scrolls just fine with the wheel. Mg Mod never did. Has anyone else had this problem?

Thanx

seems not the main feature, but the only feature.
Bugs seem compatible with the previous version.
Title: Standalone: window resize (to full) is really funky...
Post by: mvcl on April 29, 2007, 08:49:11 pm
On the standlaone on MacIntel, I have to keep pressing the '+' icon at the right to grow the window. How about enabling the green button on the window's title bar to make the window full size?

Hi all,

We made a new version of the ARP update.
This new version should fix the delay bug at 96 kHz, and the mouse wheel problem.
The links and the version number are the same, only the date of the version is the 2 of may.

Best regards
Nicolas

Will there also be a mousewheel-update for Mg Modular?  :)
