:D  :?  :(  :x Hey! Can anyone tell me why I can't use or connect modulation on my modulation wheel? This program has some pretty good sounds but without modulation it's, unfortunately, worthless to me. I need some help on this one. Does anyone else seem to have this problem?

When you say your mod wheel works, are you refering to the vibrato when using the mod wheel. My modulation wheel only effects the instruments vibrato, not volume control. I want the mod wheel to actually be a modulation wheel to control volume from piano to forte. As of today, I still cannot get the instrument to play soft and then rise in volume on a single note. You either have to play a note soft and the next note hard if you want it louder. It seems like such a elementary tool that I'm shocked they didn't have any reference to the mode wheel controling the rise in volume, piano to forte, on sustained single notes. Your actually telling me that your mode wheel effect the rise and fall of volume levels on sustained notes?

YES ......................mod wheel can control this volume dilema you have        :D......but first....when you say"they didn't have any reference to the mod wheel controling the rise in volume" you must have skipped passed the modulation and controller section in your CS80v manual      ..........Are you  using an entry level controller with only  Mod wheel available for volume moves????......just curious because all this Arturian software works with both Channel and polyphonic aftertouch too which gives you much more expressiveness.......Any how .....here goes

Modulation wheel is Control#1
2 ways you can use it to move the volume
way#1.................press and hold ctrl on your comp kybd while you click the volume knob........click the learn box so it reads "learning".........
wiggle your mod wheel............................(make sure the active box has an X in it).......... is it working???

way#2.................open up the left hand modulation panel........select Wheel as Source in two slots............select VCA 1 and VCA 2 as the 2 destinations.......adjusting the amount knobs to the + side........

#3....unfortunately today you are stuck with the limited MOD wheel to control volume moves...............:arrow:THE CS80 never had a mod Wheel...in fact the 1978 Yamaha CS80s "Polyphonic Aftertouch" would perform these Volume crescendos out performing anything keyboard manufacturers have on the market today....each key having individual volume control:( .....................yes that hurts , doesn't it???
