Title: GUI
Post by: boombaxx on August 22, 2013, 08:05:58 am
Is there any plans to make the gui more readable as it is just to small to be legible. I have had to resort to using the magnifying glass in windows to see what things actually do. Not just CS80 a a lot of them have the same problem. Apart from that  ;D

Just seen this post (having posted on a similar point), as having just got the V Collection (for others mainly) have found this to be almost unusable on my 24" 1920x1200 screen - the labels and controls are simply too small. It would be really useful if you provided the option (at least on CS80, ARP2600 and Modular; maybe some others like Jupiter) with the ability to "magnify" the size, even if only in fixed intervals of, for example 100%, 110%, 125%, 150% and 200%.

I would hope your plugins use some shared libraries for the GUI side of things, so this should be something you could implement at that level.

This is becoming even more important as we move towards both even higher resolutions screens and also the support for touch at 1028p and above, where these sizes are simply unusable.

I agree, I have the V-collection. And especially the CS-80 has a too small size as a plug-in.

I find it difficult to read on a 19 inch 1440x900 so it must be tiny on a 24 inch. They are very difficult to read

Yes yes yes!!

I was planning to buy the V-collection. I didn't find good information about the GUI's on the Arturia site. Just nice sounds and demos. But hey - with my eyes I really need the ability to zoom.  I fully support the demand of scalable GUI. It's not just the CS80V - although it seems to be the quirkiest GUI of them all. I remember it from the beta-testing period years ago.

Salut Adrien , any infos if Arturia plan on updating GUI , it's not even an option , al screens now are HD and more !!

All the brands has done it !!   some are using Monark or Diva simply because of the gui !! lol

So just tell us if it has been discussed internally , or not , if not , donne leur un coup de pieds au ....c'est un detail qui tue des ventes !

I doubt we'll see Arturia do anything with this. People have posted in other forums here about the small gui's and Arturia ignores them. You want a maddening experience? Try the CS80 on a 27 inch iMac - I've seen dollar hamburgers bigger than the CS80 gui. It's a lovely synth but trying to edit patches is a nightmare.
