Hi all
Here are some issue that you encounter often and I want to put the solutions in one common place.
You have trouble connecting the MIDI Control Center to your minilab sometime
You are probably using version 2.0.0.0 of the firmware and should update to version 2.1.0.1, see this paragraph :" Carre Couleur Midi Control Center Update" on this page (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/products/MiniLab/resources.html).
In Live you parameter are no moving correcly, and always stay around 50%
That is because the minilab is in relative mode by default. You can
- change of memory (on the minilab) to the settings in memory 1, see this paragraph :"Using your MiniLab in the right MIDI operation mode" on this page (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/products/MiniLab/resources.html)
- use the live integration configuaration to keep using relative mode, see this paragraph :"Using MiniLab with Ableton Live" on this page (http://www.arturia.com/evolution/en/products/MiniLab/resources.html)
- Tutorial : How to recall factory memories HERE (http://ftp://ftp.arturia.net/pub/support/howto/pdf/MiniLab/%5BMiniLab%5D%20Recall%20Factory%20default%20Memories.pdf)
In Live you need about 5 turns to go from 0 to 100% of the knob value using minilab, i.e. you have no acceleration
Then the problem is that Live does not handle acceleration well with the configuration.
This issue is being addressed we will soon provide a better integration script for Live that will solve this issue
Obviously we are sorry if you encountered this issue and hope that this helps.
