Title: How do I get rid of the Reverb?
Post by: stephan_s on July 02, 2013, 12:48:45 am
Hi there,
is there any chance i have missed to switch off the reverb,
either global or at least for each patch? The manual even doesn't have the word in it.

The reverb? There isn't a specific reverb setting for the Arturia, are you sure you're not confusing it with decay or release?

Yes, I'm pretty sure.
I guess there is nothing to fix without the full package of the involved devices; sad.

I was talking about the reverb included in the amp-sim of the Wurlitzer and the FX x/y on the Jupiter.
Example: Turn down any accessible FX, decays and releases on the UJ Lead EG of the Jupiter until you hear just a click. It still has delay and reverb on it.

My expectations regarding an instrument simulation are rather completely dry sounds in order to process them in the way I choose.
In other words:
They are useless if you want to do more with them than impress users stepping through presets. Anyway- there are many sounds left, it could be worse :-)
