This is the message wich appears very often.
I am using fl studio with a lot of hardware and grooveboxes etc. never had problems.
Anybody familiar with this kind of error?

Hi,
what version of Spark are you using?
If you are using 1.6.1, please give a try to 1.6.1.1 (http://www.arturia.com/downloads/spark/rc/1.6.1.1/rc2/), it should solve your problem.

I installed cd wich comes with spark LE.
it does the same as a standalone and plus when i press update spark controller it says its not connected,but i see that it is.
I downloaded update from your arturiaweb site and with it does the same and when i press update spark controller it starts but stops on 1 %.
Any ides ?

just checked 1.6.1 doing the same.
Can anybody help me please ?!

Normally you can not update SparkLE controller with Spark software.
But you are not the first one to report this problem.
So far I am not able to reproduce it :(.
Did you try with 1.6.1.1 (http://www.arturia.com/downloads/spark/rc/1.6.1.1/rc2/)?

I tried with its own cd and when i try to update it says its not connected,when i tried with with the update u gave me,it freezes on 1%.
So it means that i payed 250 euro in a gear wich works with the errors???
I want to use it in my live and every time it freezes during my show i should say to the people that its not working properly or i donot understand .... WTF !!!!
I swear its my last time i bought something from arturia.

I need to find what could be wrong.
Can you tell me exactly the version of the controller?
You can get it in Spark about panel (Click on the Spark logo in the center panel to show it).

i am just sitting whole day and trying to figure out but nothing.
It freezes every 5 minutes.

i tried ableton and it even says that it cannot connect to the controller.
I tried standalone mode,fl studio and abeton.

Hi,
yes I understand that you can be frustrated by buying something that is not working.
I hope we will find a solution :).
To update your firmware you can use this application (http://www.arturia.com/downloads/SparkLE/fw_update/).
To be able to connect in Ableton, you have to make sure SparkLE port are disabled in Ableton (see attached screenshot).
What do you mean exactly by "It freezes every 5 minutes"?

What is the Windows version you are running?
do you have any other MIDI application opened that could have open SparkLE MIDI port?

what are the sample rate and audio buffer size you are using?

updated started from the file u gave me (sparkle upadater) and after 2 % it turned off and now spark is not working at all.
8 big squares on the spark are lighting all the time :) and the mode button is turned off now(Where sparke and midi is on the cotroller)
I am using windows 7 and now spark stopped to work at all

When the update does not run up to its end the controller stays in update mode.
You should be able to run the updater again and finish the process.

Can you check in the Windows Device Manager?
In the "Sound, video and game controllers" section.
You should get something like that.

Hmmm,
this is really weird.
I have not a production unit for the moment, I have only prototypes and development units.
I will do my best to get one ASAP and check this. Currently looking at the updater code to check what could be wrong.

i think it died completly,i went in Just Music (Berlin) and they will change me tommorow.
