Title: Arturia AE the player produces white noise on most presets
Post by: JohnyOh on March 14, 2013, 09:30:41 am
Hello, i just bought AE the player, and I'm a happy owner i must say, especially when it comes to the controller.

However, i have some serious compatibility issues that i don't know how to fix. Most of the presets, produce white noise or flat sinusoidal wave. I run a windows 7 64 bit computer with 4gb RAM and an AMD processor.

Thank you in advance!

Make sure to use an ASIO driver for your integrated soundcard.
I presume none is available from the manufacturer, so please highly consider the generic driver ASIO4ALL, freely available from:
==> http://www.asio4all.com

Once it has been installed, launch your synthesizer, check Audio & MIDI Preferences, choose the ASIO4ALL driver as output, set the latency between 5 and 8 ms, have a test.

Thanks for your help. I allready have asio drivers for my both soundcards, my integrated, and Motu microbook II. However, the problem seems to persist. Rebecca from your tech support, stated that there may be compatibility issues with 64bit platforms.
