Title: Origins Sequencer
Post by: midimatik on February 07, 2013, 09:06:02 am
Hey there, read some Posts about the Origins Sequencer but my question is not really answered...

What i found out is that the Sequencer in Origin is like an "Analog Sequencer".
Iīm triggering Origin from my Octatrack. On the Octatrack i can record MIDI Notes
like a Piano triad.

I didnt find out how to do things like that on the Origin.
How can i record ma Keyboard Play?

Isnīt it possible?

If theres a Topic which replys to me this Problem please give me a link...

I'm guessing you're trying to save time with setting the sequence step notes by entering them via MIDI? Heheh

The Origin sequencer is really a recreation of the old-school analog pre-MIDI sequencers, with some added bells and whistles. You can experience the fun people had in the 1970s, dialing in each note individually with the knobs. If you want triads you can do that, but you still have to dial in each note with the knob  ;D  Also the sequence steps can be used as any kind of CV source, not just notes (for example filter cutoff, filter resonance, output left/right pan, envelope times, etc.)
