I have installed new firmaware update but MIDI transmit channel option doesen't work in my midi chain. When ommiting minibrute my synth(dark energy) recives midi messages on channel 1 and when connetced to minibrute it only responds when i press key on minibrute but doesent respond to midi messages on channel 1. I tried options with recived channel 1,2,3,... and All and none of them works.

Hi! i have install 1021 ver firmware! and i wanna share some bug's....

1st is LFO rate in FREE MODE.... it change sometime's after i put "STOP" in my DAW programm (maybe someone have another reason of this bug)... simple like that.... fader stay on 50 ghz... then i push  "STOP" red signal flashes go faster and change rate to up....

2nd
Sometimes i push any note i listern the sound :-), it's OK, but...  then i remove finger from note... i listern one more sound... problem fixed then i reboot my minibrute. it's not hardware bug. I think it's MIDI (i tryed  used the USB cable and midi cable too)

Waiting for solution!

Hi,
thanks for the feedback.
1st: that's because your daw sptos send ckocls when is Stop. If Mb does not receives the midi clock it switches back to internal clock

2nd: are you sure you daw is not sending back the notes on midi? any other devices connected to mid or USB?

 * Receiving Midi Channel Configuration, only works on channel 1

I think im reading this right, i should only be able to send and receive midi on channel 1? ive been sending and receiving midi on channel 12 as long as ive had it. what am i not understanding?

After updating the firmware, I noticed that the green LED for the keyboard octave select became noticeably more dim than usual. Is this normal or a known bug and should I try to re-update the unit? Thank you for any responces.

Hi Bruno and Arturia Team,

if I may, I'd like to humbly request making the configuration area of the MiniBruteConnection software a VST.  It would be most beneficial to have access to curve and lfo response settings without having to close down the DAW.  I would be ok if a DAW and the MBC stand-alone worked side be side too, but I didn't think this would be possible as both softwares would be using the same MIDI channel.  Thank you for your consideation!

You just need to run the latest update -it replaces the whole firmware.

Good luck  :)

When is the next firmware update planned for release?   v1.0.3 ?
It would be great to have an update that fixed all of the remaining known issues!

I'll create a dedicated topic when needed.

hey bruno, it's great news that there will finally be an update.
midi local on/off is definitely needed!
also, trigger the arp via analog gate-input (like on the microbrute) would be most welcome.
and when you work on it, please also consider this:
if possible at all, please by all means do implement a 'system settings' mode where you can set things like 'local on/off' or 'env retrigger on/off' on the device itself instead of having to use a pc!
ui-wise at least, that shouldn't be too hard to do: hold 'tap' button while powering on to enter 'system settings', then use keys to edit settings (c1 = local on, c#1 = local off, etc).
i really think you shouldn't need a pc to configure such basic settings on a kb synth. local on/off, env retrigger, and arp 'hold'/pseudo seq on/off are things that you want to toggle quite often, without having a pc around...

[edit:] oh, and i volunteer as a beta tester. i'm pretty good at finding bugs and quirks...

is there anything true about the rumors, that the minibrute could get a sequencer mode via next FW update?

Great! I would love to get the Sequencer from the MicroBrute implemented also. We have all the buttons on the MineBrute so it should be possible :) And let it send the Arp/Seq over midi also :)

Thx for the new firmware  ;)

I'd ask if it will be possible get more access to filter settings and of course please a sequencer working the way like on the Microbrute!

It would be great too, to have control on the Midi e.g. to activate / deactivate receive of cc parameters or even better some patching / setting which received cc to which parameter ... I ask for that, as I checked, that all my Midi sequencers MAM SQ 16 / Raveolution 309 and Korg ER-1 send data that could be usefull to work on filter or lfo etc....

further I realized, that sometime the Mnibrute filter and EG freezes when there is too much Midi on How about implementing a panic button / buttoun combination - now I have to switch off and on the minibrute to make filter and gate respond acurately again, what is a no go for live ....

how about transmitting lfo / adsr / gate via midi out???

but I still love it for the sound and specially the filter

cheers LT

if you keep asking questions he has no time to finish the update! he had probably already finished the update when someone asked "oh, can you add this and this and that..."  ;D just kidding

You don't know how right you are. I could stop doing support on the forum, I would probably had time to design an analog polyphonic modular  :) or just finish this minibrute firmware much earlier.
