Title: Why is Spark controller triggering sounds on my soft synths in Logic?
Post by: Amirs0ko on December 29, 2012, 10:21:18 pm
I am working in Logic Pro and something very weird is happening.  Whenever I load a soft synth (or any software instrument in Logic) the sounds are triggered when I press on a button or pad on my Spark controller.  I do NOT want this to happen.  Spark is not in any kind of MIDI mode and I've tried messing around with the preferences options in the Spark Software but nothing seems to work.

How can I stop the Spark controller from triggering sounds in other software instruments in Logic Pro?

Thanks everyone!

Is 'Spark Private In' connected to an instrument with its port turned off in your environment, i get all sorts of weird behaviour if its not

You made sure "send midi from pads" and "send midi from sequencer" in the preferences panel were off?

Looks like it was a Spark Private In situation in the Logic environment.  I got it working properly.

Thanks everyone ;D
