Title: Randomness does not work quite as stated

The KeyStep Pro Manual says in 4.2.10.5

In Step Edit mode, the Randomness encoder lets you choose, for each note, the probability that it will trigger, from 0% to 100%. If there is more than one note stored in the selected step, each note will trigger randomly according to the current Randomness setting.
 
but it’s not that simple. I had a dyad on each step of an 8 step sequence, and in Step Edit mode I selected each step and set Randomness to 50%. What happened is it was either playing the dyad or nothing on each step, tested by listening to the output going to a polysynth. What I want, and what the manual implies, is to play either the low or high note of the dyad (the output is a monophonic synth so if it outputs both it will play just one according to the note rules on the synth). Firmware is 2.0.1.
