Title: A strange issue with just 1 preset
Post by: jg4224 on January 15, 2023, 04:28:19 am
Hi, a relatively new user, however just noticed a very strange issue which manifests itself only in 1 particular preset. The preset is "Poly Tron". One of the 6 voices is muted. No matter whether I play a chord or play the notes consecutively, one of the 6 voices is always muted. Tried recalibrating voices, filters, tried resetting to the factory settings but no luck.

p.s. No other patches/presets exhibit this behavior.

Hey jg4224, just tried it - no issue here.
To check the response to the individual voices use the Debug Mode as follows:
- press first [Rec Arm] hold it and then the [Morphée] button - and release those.
- The display should tell you [Debug Mode ON]
- Hold [Polyphony] for a second
- Display shows a table with 6 colums (plus the first with the parameters)
- The "Poly Tron" preset is polyphonal, so one key = one voice
Here you can  (at least) find out what is going wrong - no correction possible (to my knowledge).

For getting out of the Debug Mode press [Rec Arm] and [Morphée] once more..

If a voice is not responding permanently in other presets too - it is a matter of warranty.

EDIT: Please make sure you are using the latest fimware: 2.0.0.747
- Settings > Misc > FW Version

Thank you for your reply!
I've narrowed the issue down to 1 voice not working properly when the steiner slope is set to high pass.
Submitted a support request with Arturia tech support, hopefully they'll let me know how to proceed moving forward.
