Title: Velocity Control
Post by: Peter Rowlett on December 01, 2022, 09:52:02 am
Hello,
Maybe this is just how it is but, with default preset selected, all effects and modulation off, no Velocity modulation set,
with only one sampler engine enabled, then when a note is played it is 100% velocity sensitive.
Is this normal ?

Thanks, pcr.

Hello,

There should be no Velocity if you remove all velocity settings.
Keep in mind, there can be many Velocity settings and that the modulation can have been set to both positive and negative value. This might explain what you exsperience.

If this is'nt it, then please give an example and provide a detailed explanation on how to reproduce the issue.

Hello LBH,

As requested I have attached an exported example preset(.hpx file).
Import the file and select "velocity wrong" preset.
Hopefully you will find it is velocity sensitive.

Thanks, pcr.

Hello pcr123,

I have tested now.

I can confirm a velocity problem with the Sample modules.

In your example you have'nt removed the Velocity>AMP setting in the Modulation/ KEYS section. If you remove that modulation, then i assume you can confirm that it's only the Sample Modules that have the issue. Right?
Your example is a Sample module example.

The same issue is in all the Augmented Instruments and a generel issue. It's not preset related it look like.

Please keep in mind i'm a user and not Arturia support. The issue can be reported directly to Arturia support thru your accounts.
