Title: Disable Sustain Pedal Noise
Post by: DigitalOar on October 12, 2022, 10:50:29 pm
Hi. I've noticed on the Stage-73 V2 (and even on the Wurli) there is a pedal noise coming from the instrument. It's similar to the pedal noise that you'd expect from a piano. It might make the plug-in more realistic, but it's really pronounced and not very desirable. In fact, the other night I was going to use one of the Stage-73 patches during a song. I depressed the sustain pedal and everyone looked and me and said, "What was that?!?!" I ended up not using the Stage-73 and quickly loaded up the Scarbee Mark I in Kontakt.

Is there a way to tone down the pedal noise or turn it off completely?

Thanks.

Hello,

The different Piano Models you can choose in the Advanced page have different pedal levels. One have none i think, some have very little, and some have much.
Also the Dynamics parameter in the Acoustic section in Advanced page have an impact on the pedal level.
I don't think there is a separate parameter for the pedal level. Don't know why not.
