Title: Having the Drumbrute Impact playing with my sequencer
Post by: andretoscano on April 28, 2022, 03:13:23 pm
Hi.
I have a Drumbrute Impact. I like to make patterns with it, but I have a few questions regarding using it with a computer sequencer:

1. If I have the sequencer sending MIDI Clock, then the Drumbrute starts and stops when I start and stop the sequencer. But what if i want the pattern to only start playing from measure 5 to 8, for example?
How can I tell it to just play the prepared patterns on those parts?

2. How is it possible for the Drumbrute to send the pattern notes as different MIDI notes, so I can double them with sampling plug-ins? I can record the audio coming out the Drumbrute, but if I want the individual MIDI notes so I can also apply them to a sampler, how to do that?

3. I like the Looper effects in the Drumbrute. How can the same Looper be applied to the whole sequence in the computer? To put in other words, I want to press the 1/4 or 2/8 or whatever, and have the sequencer in the computer also looping like the Drumbrute Impact is doing. How can I do that?

Thanks!
