Title: How do I control Minibrute 2S with an external keyboard?
Post by: flxojo on April 19, 2022, 04:22:55 pm
I have an Arturia keyboard (MKII keylab 49) and I’ll like to use this to control MB2S instead of the keyboard on the Minibrute itself. How do I do this? I’ve connected the 2 hardware via a 5-din midi cable but without success.

Thanks.

The MIDI cable alone isn't going to supply power to your KeyLab, so you'll have to make sure it's powered on for it to work.

I, too, use a separate MIDI keyboard to play notes on the 2S, but I have my keyboard connected to my computer with a USB cable and use the MIDI out of my audio interface going to the MiniBrute. Works great.
